​BVM (USN) CELEBRATED BAISAKHI WITH APLOMB « 12/Apr/2017

BVM Sen. Sec. School, USN reverberated with zest as the auspicious festival of harvest and happiness ‘Baisakhi’ was celebrated in the morning assembly today.  Students of class III and IV focused on the significance of ‘Miri – Piri’, the message given by saint warrior Sh. Guru Gobind Singh ji, through their soulful shabad ‘ Khalsa Mero Roop hai…’. Khushpreet and Khushi of class VIII highlighted the history of valiant Punjab through their poems. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi extended her greetings on the festival and exhorted the students to promote harmony, love and peace and become responsible citizens by carrying out little responsibilities in their day to day life. She also paid tribute to the martyrs of Jallian wala Bagh. Showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, little Bhartiyans ofclass Nur, KG, I and II tapped their feet gleefully to the bhangra and gidha beats. Eighteen solo, theme - performers from class V to VII enthralled everyone in the Talent Hunt show. Dhruv of  VI A, Bhumika of V C and Pritika of VII B were ranked first, second and third respectively in the competition.
